Where do you see me?

This is a question I have asked several of my closest friends. (I am hoping for a clear mind blowing answer.) But today a very dear friend shared Isaiah 8:16-17

Isaiah 8:16-17

New International Version (NIV)

16 Bind up this testimony of warning
and seal up God’s instruction among my disciples.
17 I will wait for the Lord,
who is hiding his face from the descendants of Jacob.
I will put my trust in him.

 Isaiah 8:16-17

The Message (MSG)

16-18 Gather up the testimony,
preserve the teaching for my followers,
While I wait for God as long as he remains in hiding,
while I wait and hope for him.
I stand my ground and hope,
I and the children God gave me as signs to Israel,
Warning signs and hope signs from God-of-the-Angel-Armies,
who makes his home in Mount Zion.

Isaiah 8:16-17

English Standard Version (ESV)

16 Bind up the testimony; seal the teaching[a] among my disciples. 17 I will wait for the Lord, who is hiding his face from the house of Jacob, and I will hope in him.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN????

Tomorrow I find myself going on Glory Quest for the weekend. I know God is doing some powerful work and He will reveal that to me in his time. I am both anxious and excited about this weekend. I love to see how God shines.

I am praying Sunday I will have an answer to my question.

Love to you all,
Mary

      1. Very interesting. I've asked that question myself many times. Did you get your answer? I know a lot has happened since you wrote this, but I was just curious. Was the Quest it's self the answer or was the Mission trip to Africa your answer, or was it both? Sorry for the long winded sentence, my thoughts kinda ran together there. Anyway, great blog, awesome writing.
