"Oh what a wonderful journey it has been. God has blessed me with so many things and he continues to bless me as long as I am obedient."(Which is not an easy task for me)
I am wife to Big Poppy aka Jerry. We were married January 8, 1994. I am called mom to 2 wonderful children, (whom I am absolutely crazy about), our beautiful daughter, Mercedes, born in June 1994, and our handsome son, Richard, born in June 1996.

I was born in San Bernardino, CA and lived out west till I was 8. At that time our family moved to Waverly, KY where I lived till 1989. It was then my dad passed away and my mom and I moved to Henderson, KY where I still currently live.
In 2005 God brought me to work at Zion Baptist Church as the Financial Secretary, (not exactly what MY plans were, but God has plans I don't understand.) I have to say I have never been happier. I LOVE my job. I work with some amazing people and I get to work in God's House. How cool is that???
I want to share my story of how God took my road of pain, darkness, and self-inflicted guilt and turned it into a beautiful journey. I enjoy telling others about God and what he does in our lives. I try to encourage every one of their endless possibilities when they put God first.

For the last 18 years my children have been a main fulfillment in my life. Another words, they have kept me very busy. But since my daughter has gone off to school and my son is more independent I have found more time to focus on God purpose with my life. My next adventure will be in February. I will be going on a mission trip with some others to Uganda, Africa. I am so excited but at the same time nervous. I know God will take care of me.
My hobbies include:
- My Children
- Walking & playing with my dogs (3 Bassets, Lucy (6), Cooper (4), Atticus (2)
- Sewing and Crafting
- Watching football especially DA BEARS!!!!!
